A community school
The campaign to open a secondary school in Stoke by Nayland was started by a group of parents and community members, all of whom live in the area.
During the latter part of 2011, the Seckford Foundation offered its support in order to add specific and valuable educational expertise to the School's proposal. The Seckford Foundation will run Stoke by Nayland Free School should the proposal be successful.
Partnerships
It is hoped that the Free School will work very closely with the Heads of Primary Schools in the Stoke by Nayland pyramid, and beyond. In particular we will encourage collaborative projects in curriculum projects.
It is also hoped that Stoke by Nayland Free School representatives will be able to visit the local primary schools to explain to parents and teachers alike the plans for the proposed School.
