Only if the school becomes oversubscribed, will these oversubscription criteria be used. In this situation, priority will be given to:

1. Children in public care (Looked After Children)

2. Children who live in the catchment area (loosely the same catchment area as for Beccles Middle School) in the following priority order:

      a. Where the preferred school is the most suitable to meet the child’s medical needs.

      b. Children who are siblings at the same family address as pupils who are already at the school

c. Children who live nearest to the school based on ‘straight line’ measurement.

3. Children who live outside the school’s catchment area in the same priority as set out above

Children whose Statement of Special Educational Needs names the school will have a place at the school, in line with the law.
